Delhi Chief Minister Rekha Gupta is set to take a brief spiritual retreat following the completion of her first 100 days in office. According to official sources, the Chief Minister will undertake a two-day visit to religious sites in Uttarakhand in the first week of June.

On June 1, CM Gupta is expected to visit Haridwar, where she will take a holy dip in the Ganga at the sacred Har Ki Pauri. The following day, she is likely to travel to Kedarnath for darshan at the revered shrine, sources added.

“The Chief Minister has maintained a demanding schedule over the past 100 days. This short trip is a personal and spiritual break, and she will likely be accompanied by her family,” a government official said.

The BJP-led government in Delhi, under Gupta’s leadership, marked its 100th day in power on Friday. The party returned to power in the national capital after a gap of 27 years, winning the Assembly elections held in February.

Gupta was sworn in as Delhi’s Chief Minister on February 20 in a public ceremony at Ramleela Maidan, attended by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and senior BJP leaders.
